EmpowerSurvivors Weekly Peer Group
- Come join us every Thursday in Stillwater,MN for our weekly peer support group for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse! This is a free group led by a fellow survivor of childhood sexual abuse. This is not a replacement for professional therapy but rather a safe place of support to gather, learn, and be supported by people who have lived the experience and are all at different places in their healing journey.
What do meetings look like?
Coming to a group can seem scary but you will learn fast just how welcoming people can be and that you are no longer alone. First 15 minutes of group is a topic on issues pertaining to childhood sexual abuse. 2nd part consists of further discussion on topic or open discussion.
Meeting Location is at Roach Hall - 208 S 3rd Street ,Stillwater MN 55082
Please Contact Elizabeth at 651- 300-9180 Before Attending 1st Meeting
EmpowerSurvivors realizes that not every survivor has a peer support group in their area. We believe no survivor of childhood sexual abuse should go unsupported and because of this we formed a"Closed" EmpowerSurvivors peer support group on Facebook. By being a part of a "Closed" group you are able to join others online without your comments or posts showing up on your public news feed. Privacy is important and we try to do our best to ensure that for all survivors! Join us on Facebook by clicking on the link below!

The Way - 13 Week Christian Recovery Peer Program
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)
God offers us comfort and the medicine for everything broken and wounded to our being. We may feel that nothing is going right in our lives and the pain is growing day by day, yet those sufferings are not permanent. No wounds can be left unhealed if we offer them to Him.
The Way is a 13 week Christian Recovery Program that uses the Julie Woodley "In The Wildflowers" Workbook/DVD Series to bring survivors through the healing process with fellow survivors. This is not an end all but a beginning, a tool for your journey. This group will meet once a week for 13 weeks . It is advised that all participants are seeing a therapist during this course. This group is facilitated by a fellow peer ( survivor) and is not led by a mental health professional. It is important that through this process you seek professional care as material may be trigerring for survivors.
Cost : $60.00
Program is oferred every spring and fall.
